http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23694819/ Unfortunately, this can be one of the issues with “green” products.  Although they help us to be more energy efficient, the data on how to properly employ them has not quite caught up with the marketing hype that drives their sales.  Forward this info on to anyone you know who uses compact flourescents (I hope you know at least a few people) because, they can be dangerous if mishandled.
